Can we appreciate how much artists actually contribute to their album production?

Basically everything is done by Day6 and Hong Jisang who have been their main producer since their debut. When I tell you that Day6 don't need like 127124 producers in their album I really mean it, because Day6 do 95% of the stuff by themselves with only 1 or 2 outside help.

The reason why like out of so many groups I buy Day6 albums and also love them so much is because they aren't just people who sing on their songs.

They are artists who participate heavily in the production, the composition, the songwriting in the entire album, and having to own such wonderful pieces of work is also one way of showing how much I deeply care for the heart they put into their music

I realise that a lot of Day6 rock ballad B-sides Sungjin starts the chorus first

And their latest one 'above the clouds'. Something about his voice just hits hard whenever he sings the chorus. If it's not Sungjin it's most likely Young K probably due to hit amazing range to hit the high notes exceptionally
