love nmixx but vocals mean very little when you consistently look dead on stage
Not the greatest, I think XG definitely is the best amongst 4th gen, but LSFM is close second as far as actually getting a crowd going and interacting with people who pay to see them.
I find them mid. Im only drown to Sakura, but by some wicked magic hybe ... botched her??
Like there is some shadow upon her and she lost alot of aura in sserafim?
I think it's probably because the fearless/dark concept didn't suit her.
She was so much better in izone. Like what happened?
Even visually, hybe give her their horrendous plastic nose and the girl looks malnourished YET overtrained. She's just muscles and bones in hybe but her body looked very nice during Izone

I dont really care about the others, and no voice really stands out in the team either. MEH.
Yunjin is quite charismatic and has a good command of the stage, but I don't like her voice and i'm overall pretty indifferent to her. Chaewon is a decent singer, but her voice doesn't stand out to me, nor does her presence in this project.
Anyone can be trained to cheer up the crown and interact with them. Idk to which extent does that really constitutes being a better performer tho. But it is a testament of good performance training.
More importantly, if you add live singing to the performance rating, they're not even in my top 3:
3. Idle
Regardless of live or not, my favorite performers are NewJeans and then aespa. NewJeans is obvious but even for aespa I can never take my eyes off WinNing during their stages. Karina is good too but needs to be more expressive overall. Aeri is a hit or miss and can drag the team's aura down when she doens't feel confident. But overall i much prefer them to sserafim.
Also, Itzy are pretty good too specially Ruijin/Yeji ( actually they're good good!), but again, the whole team/project is a chop to me. So i don't really enjoy anything they have done past Loco. and therefore don't even bother checking their performances and if you can't commend my attention, i just don't care if you dance or sing like a beast.
For ssera, i never really liked the team much either, i just liked some of their songs.
But the hybe production team is specialized in dancing and performances, they always go very very hard (not necessarily the most interesting or the best quality tho) but it's very FLASHY and dynamique. So i can understand that people enjoy their group's performances and how they direct and construct their artists stages.
And if people think that im anti hybe biased or smth, i already expressed how it's not the members or anything, i just don't like the hybe style in general. Proof is I prefered Sakura's presence, aura and performances MUCH more in Izone.
I think so. Technically one could say Nmixx is the best, but unsure if they can match LSF's charisma on stage. Itzy is very good too but I give slight edge to LSF because I think their vocals sound better when executing tough choreography. Also, I think LSF might be one of the best groups with interacting with the audience and keeping them engaged. It seems most of the fans videos I've watched their crowds had a lot of energy and the audience seemed very engage. Usually with kpop concerts I didn't sense the same energy from the clips I've watched for LSF's tour.
I think for Nmixx they most likely need to go on a world tour to change people's minds about them. For LSF I think narrative for them as performers improved with their recent tour, and I think Nmixx needs a moment like that.
I'd say LE SSERAFIM is definitely up there along with XG and ITZY. Neither LSF nor ITZY have the best vocals but they most definitely can get a crowd going and I almost never fail to feel their energy as they perform.
The reason why I don't say idle on there is because they've been declining recently. And it might feel cliche but all their concepts really feel like something Soyeon wants and not all the other members. Even in all their recent fancams, its only the usual members that look into it. The rest of the group looks bored.
That being said, you could have all the vocal talent in the world. Without stage presence to accompany that, you are nothing more than an average performer and I'll stand by that.

there are members in groups who are very weak singers (often visuals who barely get parts), but if they outright sound bad really i don't think they belong on stage as more than a back up dancer.
a performer is NOT just a dance performer sprinkled with some face acting. a real performer SINGS/uses his voice before all.
i personally MUCH prefer weaker dancers and decent/stronger vocals than the opposite.
not everyone has to be a lead vocalist of course, but when the majority of the team is weak or sounds off then it's not okay anymore. it has a great impact on the teams overall live performance.
Nmixx is more well rounded but LSF is a close 2nd to me

I don't even think the members don't like the concepts — as they have a say on It, Minnie or Yuqi even produce songs and they've tried a lot of different concepts. I think they just aren't very charismatic on stage/know how to command it and that's It, especially next to Soyeon.
Soyeon had the best stage presence of anyone not named Hwasa at KCON LA this year. She exceeded my lofty expectations for her.

Every single member of LE SSERAFIM is decent singer with the exception of Sakura who is rebuilding her foundations. And if you think stage presence is "face acting" then that would explain why so little of your arguments make sense.
