Aespa, STAYC, NMIXX.

That's the vocal trifecta for the mid to top newer gen GGs.

Honorable mentions: Purple Kiss and Weeekly.

Individual Mentions: Lily (of course), Sieun, Swan, Monday, my pick in Aespa would be Winter even though Ningning is the main, Ahyeon ( YG has not really pushed her vocals post-debut like I expected, but girl is a powerhouse).

Aespa

Aespa is a close second in terms of vocals to Nmixx.

Are Nmixx really that good? How do they compare to 2nd gen and 3rd gen vocal lines and vocalists, where would they be ranked?

The group as a whole is stable and technically good, and they have 2 great vocalists with 1 pretty good one.

Lily is arguably the best vocalist in the gen. Haewon is also good, but I think Lily is a large reason they are hyped vocally. Without her, it would probably be hard to say they are better than Aespa.

I think Lily could probably stand toe to toe with most 2nd gen and 3rd gen vocal lines. For Haewon, it would depend on the vocalist.

I think they are, they have the two best 4th gen vocalists in Lily and Haewon, not sure who would be third. For third gen i think RV and Mamamoo likey clear them at the moment. Wendy and Hwasa are the goats. But I think Nmixx can still get better, they're still very young.

Oh, I wasn't aware that Lily was that good! That makes her better than the main vocalists of many other groups.

See, I love Haewon, but I don't always love her tone. I think that's where it becomes more subjective on my part.

I'd probably pick Ningning/Winter over Haewon. Not that she is not technically good or have a strong voice, just a preference in tone. I also prefer Sullyoon's tone to Haewon's. She would be my #3 pick in NMIXX, but I recognize that Haewon has more power and technicality than Sullyoon, which is why she's #2.

Good choice.

Arin was on her way to becoming my favorite vocalist of 4th gen because I just love her tone so much. Sio was also nice, and Chanelle made a splash when Fifty Fifty redebuted.

Aespa.

Just vocally a well rounded group that harmonises well and sounds great together.

Some of the other groups have better individual singers but might lack in some other areas as a group.

If I try to stay objective aespa then Weeekly then Purple Kiss. Cherry Bullet would be up there too in particular with their 10 members original line-up.

Pink Fantasy was certainly actually the best vocal 4th generation group with Nmixx. Yechan is the best 4th generation vocalist imo and they had strong lead vocalists.
