LSF is not in the same tier with Nmixx. And never will be

they are still charting good, not as well as the previous comeback but at least they are not at the JYP GG tier list domestically

Isn’t Hot charting better than crazy on daily at a faster rate I think Lsfm will do fine will be interesting to see where they peak but it’s going better than their last comeback so that’s all that matters

in both charting and physicals LSF is still far above StayC.

Great timing for this thread. Le Sserafim celebrating their first win for Hot and proving the haters wrong. People need to stop disrespecting them and Nmixx. I hope Nmixx can get a win next and same with Stayc

Hell, Yuqi on her solo effort is very close to the sales that "HOT" currently has.

Idle have dropped on Spotify, it's true. But unlike Nmixx, Stayc, and even LSF, they still have strong Youtube Music (ad free) streams, and also unlike those 3, they sell well in China Digitally (which doesn't have Spotify).

I think the OP's premise is flawed but let's not just pile more misinformation upon another.

No song hit #1, no PAKs.

But fine, with #2s & top 10 charting, they always were just outside. But the last two releases have sunk that and placed them solidly in Tier 2.

Still they are well ahead of Stayc, Nmixx, Kep1er.

If top tier is Aespa, NJZ, GIDLE and IVE, then prove that LSF has the same achievements.

Y’all want to downplay them so bad lmaoo. So other so called top groups in the same tier with Nmixx, Stayc internationally cause their recent songs flopped so hard international? That’s also mean they’re way below Baemon, Illlit and Kiof internationally now?

Lets me remind you since debut Le Sserafim has charted all their songs in the top 10 on kchart including their 2 bsides. 2 top 1 song, 2 top 2 song. Only Crazy was not charting high but still made top 30 which is during the hate train and they were promoted in the US more than in Korea at that time. Oh and also don’t let me talk about their Spotify streams, they’re the only two group along side newjeans had charted all their songs on the Spotify global chart.

Hot is also gaining traction on kchart which I think they could at least reach top 10. So if they hit top 1 this time does that mean they’re a top 2 group cause they have both kchart and international chart while the other only have one???

A Tier - Top Girl Groups in at least Korea, they can top the charts (top 10) with their comebacks and have sold over 1 Million Albums in their career.

1. Aespa; They do well enough, they make noise music like BP, so they may make it big in the west with SM resources. AESPA stepping on other GGs, first GG to win a Daesang at The Fact Music Awards.

2. New Jeans; The new big thing in Korea, Best Album debut in kpop history, they are BTS little sisters, Top 11 on global Spotify, they are international now. Breaking all kinds of streaming and PAK records. Second group after BP to score a top selling album in the USA.

3. IVE; They are solidifying themselves as a top GG in Kpop, they are making hit after hit. A real world tour with some nice sized venues.

4. G-idle; Tomboy and now Nxde have topped the charts and raked up PAKs, so they belong here.

5. ILLIT; Doing well on global Spotify and top 3 on Melon.

6. Le Ssarafim; They charted well, and they have now sold over 1 million total albums.

7. Red Velvet; They are often forgotten, always in the shadows of bigger SM groups, but they continue to do well with their music.

B Tier - They do well in Selling Albums or charting well, but lack a little something to make it to A.

1. Stay C; They chart and sell well, Recent chart performances may mean they drop to C-Tier.

2. BABYMONSTER; Broke YouTube records and did well on global Spotify, finally charting top 200 in Korea.

3. NMIXX; They sell like a A-tier group, but chart like a C tier, they are JYP, so I am sure they will move up the charts soon.

4. Itzy; They may be ready to swap places with Twice, they chart top 10 and just sold a million Albums (or are about to). they did well in Japan and had a successful World tour (not at Twice/BP level)

True, in my own rankings I have Twice and BlackPink as the highest Tier, only because I am bias towards concert attendance, if I was biased towards charts, Twice would be B/C Tier, below NMIXX and StayC.

Also, my Second Tier is mostly based on being Top10 on Melon/Circle charts, that is the only reason I have LSF in the same tier as Aespa and 1 tier above NMIXX/StayC.

I will.

I hold Korean opinion to be more important. Even there, I want to discount fandom opinions.

So the optimal metric is the digital charts.

I used to prefer Melon ULs, but since Melon market has been reducing, now prefer the Circle Digital.

Besides a true top tier act will not be missing at the top of Circle Digitals.

Fair enough. See CaraFIMIE .. this is bringing receipts and I accept it.

But then even Aespa struggled for sometime on whether they were top tier or not. 2022-23 was not a great year for them, but they made a strong comeback.

Maybe LSF will too.

And GIDLE took more years to get to the top.

Whereas Ive, NJZ have been more consistent at the top.

Currently I would go with NJZ>Ive>Aespa>GIDLE>LSF
