I mean Hanni hasn’t released a song and no matter what “trend” she created we won’t know until then. So that’s not a comparison worth making. If she released a song in English for the American audience and it charts in Korea we will talk then.
I can’t really think of a foreign idol last entering Melon, trying to think. I know some 2PM guy used to be decently popular and I think Lay charted with his debut solo single for like two seconds. But it’s a very rare thing.

But yes, I really enjoy Thai dramas tbh, they have diversity, in kr it's either comedy, romance where the woman is poor asf, humiliated and the man, the supposed "alpha" doesn't protect her since the beginning 
, but they are great at zombie series, but in Thai you can watch about anything, they give you options, their horror series are amazing too!

Outside of Love Scout, nothing has compared to the top CDramas and Thai dramas I've watched recently.
Just finished Blossom and Love Like the Galaxy back to back. So GOOD.
And I'm currently watching Us
I really enjoyed love like galaxy as well. Right now I’m obsessed with first Frost. I’m afraid nothing kdrama can do can top it this year
