Nothing makes all the divisive toxicity that often plagues our online spaces for K-Pop discussion seem less trivial and pointless than when you're in a venue with your favorite idol and losing yourself to the moment and energy of their performance. I felt that way any time I see Mamamoo, I felt that way when I saw NewJeans last year and I felt that way after seeing Byul.
Yes, this is my personal image of the year. Well, two of them. First, because I took the pictures myself, but also because it was a nice reminder of what I love most about this hobby and passion of mine--it's fun, and Moonbyul was playful, greasy (MooMoos know) and engaging in ways I'd never seen her as a member of Mamamoo.
