When NewJeans just made their Insta, their were trolls + fans of other groups (mostly ILLIT fans) saying that their colors overlapped with Red Velvet
At first, when the trolls came on Instiz, the Red Velvet fans were saying how those accounts calling them out were only small accounts, that it was childish and they didn't feed the trolls
"Their symbolic hearts were also on Insta"
When I looked it up, it seems like Seulgi uses both yellow and orange so they never overlapped
Irene uses both red and pink
NewJeans just ended this controversy by changing their bio on Insta of the nitpickers
"Irene is pink, Wendy is blue, Seulgi is orange, Joy is green, etc. Yeri chose to be purple because of the symbolic colors of the Red Velvet members."
