Whilst BTS has increased their popularity tremendously, i find that I dont like their songs as much as their old songs.
During their debut days up until Not Today, im a fan of their more hip-hoppy songs and experimental sound. But now i just cant enjoy their bubblegum pop. Dynamite, Boy with luv, DNA are so basic imo

Not really my thing as i prefer vocal + rap
I find that V's husky deep voice, jungkok's soothing voice and jimin's high pitch voice add flavor to their songs. The rappers with different style of rap make the songs more interesting.
My favourite by them would be Save Me, I need you, run, fire, war of hormones, danger, N.O., no more dream

Those songs are all promoted title tracks and from their very older era hmm. Do you like Korean hip hop (Epik High, Zico, Wonstein, Simon Dominic etc.) or do you stay in idol music only?

kpop has significantly lowered the singing standards of kpop fans. y'all will hear an idol hold a basic ass note for 2 seconds and just because their voice didn't crack or go off key y'all will be like "OMG MY BABY SANG SO GOOD!!! U SEE THIS HATERS WHO SAID THEY COULDN'T SING?? THEY JUST OUT SANG ALL YOUR FAVES"

twice isn't fresh or exciting anymore.
this is by no means applies to the members, the girls are lovely and their individual projects are actually really interesting, also this is natural because they've been a group at the top of their game for song long.
however, due to oversaturation and JYP always sticking to the same formula, I don't get as excited anticipating twice's comebacks or listening to their songs as i did before. it's hard to care about them when it feels like so many other kpop groups are doing new, cutting-edge things

do idols fake being shit at acting? because when it comes to acting in a kdrama, they are so obvious, but when it comes to lying to the public about being a kind-hearted, innocent person (when they're really an iljin) idols become amazing actors, so amazing that their fans send death threats to anyone who dare suggest their "smol bean" is a bad person

BP being as popular as they are is mind boggling. They are not talented whatsoever and don't even excel in one area that their peers don't already wipe the floor from them. Jisoo sounds like someone is taking nails to a chalkboard and scratching repeatedly. Think Shakira's toad singing. Very unpleasant. Not even going to talk about how now of them can sing or rap. Their music has literally been a rehash of dudu whatever and they put in less work than all other idols (just watching Netflix all year and still succeeding because of YG's starving technique to build unwarranted hype) and THE most privileged group ever known to kpop. Out the gate already have paks and brand deals other idols deserve instead of them. I am genuinely confused as to how they are even popular when many nugu ggs have more talent and better music than them. But hey at least they are models. That's the one thing going for them I guess.
