idols these days are lazy...or just her? lol

  • lmao the article is even funnier

Tiffany appeared as a special guest on the May 19 episode of 'Radio Star' and talked about her experiences promoting with the Girls' Generation members for their 15th anniversary.

She shared, "I went to a music program broadcast for the first time in a while. I went for the 15th-anniversary project for Girls' Generation. We would dance diligently and work hard even though the camera was far away because we wanted to stand out even if we were dancing in the back of the stage."

Tiffany went on to explain, "But these days, there's something called individual fancam recording, so maybe that's why idols are so lax (lazy). So when I saw it, I thought, 'These kids are rehearsing so lazily' and 'Why are they doing it so half-heartedly?' " Tiffany continued, "So I thought they were just doing sound check but then when you do sound checks, you need to make sure the breathing and positions are all correct..."

Then she went to share her thoughts on how an idol should be on stage and explained, "There were a lot of new things I experienced and thought (idols) were more lax. But you know? There's a saying 'First time, last time, every time'" and shared that she believes that an artist should give their best in all moments, even if it's a rehearsal.

  • Our previous gen favs are slowly entering their boomer era lol

I think main problem here is different approach generations have with their jobs. Just because they are doing it differently than you doesn't mean they are lazy.

She is also mentioning individual fancam and I am not sure how that correlates to idols being more lazy?

~ Retired exol, don't ask me about that group. ~

idols aren't dancing for their lives to stand out and be noticed at every stage as they are being tracking by their individual fancam is the observation she seems to be making.

  • idols aren't dancing for their lives to stand out and be noticed at every stage as they are being tracking by their individual fancam is the observation she seems to be making.

Which is a stupid observation, because if they're actually being lazy, it will certainly be showcased in said individual "fancam," drawing attention in a negative way. Group performances aren't supposed to be a competition to be noticed in the first place, otherwise everyone would be doing their own thing instead of synchronized choreo. She's giving serious "pick me" energy.

  • i think tiffany's problem is self-centered bias and rose colored glasses that everyone is susceptible to regardless of when they were born. when we look back on our own experiences of course we think "wow, I worked so diligently, things were so hard back then blah blah" and we probably are forgetting all the times we half-assed it or actually had it easy. but when we look at other people it seems unfair they look like they're having such an easy time, even though for all we know that could just be an exception or they are actually struggling bts
