The only ones i was hesitant to predict was illit’s songs bc they’re a new group and it’s hard to gauge reactions to a new rookie, but for the rest of the ggs, it’s a slam dunk for me

How is ive’s song doing well but not exceptionally well yet Supernoval is viral? I mean the I’ve song has reached #2 too and stayed there longer. Or you mean based on ive’s standards?

you missed the context: heya initially debuted on charts much higher than supernova but hovered around the top 5-6 spot on melon for awhile before gradually climbing to number 2 over its following weeks after full-scale promos kicked in.
Meanwhile, supernova started at much lower positions but quickly jumped up on charts to the point they’re now threatening for number 1, and it hasn’t even been 4 full days since its release, and aespa has only promoted the song on 1 music show less than 12 hours ago.
Heya will be the first ive title track in their career that fails to reach number 1, while supernova’s momentum is only increasing, and i personally believe it has the potential to reach number 1, especially since it’ll have another boost with the album release later. Internationally it was over before it even began: supernova did much better on spotify and youtube on day 1; people are clearly enthusiastic for this song while reactions to heya have been quite sluggish tbh. Supernova clearly will emerge the bigger hit
