Yes, if I want to hear great vocals I can listen to Sohyang, Dimash, or Morrisette. I can count on one hand how many kpop songs I listen to specifically because of an idol’s voice.

Current Kpop idols doesn't sing like this artist for sure.

That's like saying you can't complain about your stinky, messy hotel room just because you didn't pay for a 5 star hotel. People aren't expecting the best of the best but still there is an expectation that things would be decent at least and that's fair.

that's what you like some of us here can appreciate vocals if you don't like those vocals it's on you but don't tell us what to like. also mid vocal color it's subjective .

Anyways, if we dont talk about vocals, then make sure that those groups dont release any music.

I would LOVE to hear some girl groups sing completely live, with no backing vocals whatsoever, while doing their full choreo with minimal breaks, and see how they sound. Especially the groups whose fans I see dumping on LSF here and in the mega thread.

I dont need Morissette to enjoy a pop song esp a KPOP song lol but I CAN always appreciate having a Taeyeon or a Wendy in a kpop group - just makes the group so much more interesting, also its good for that idol because it opens more opportunities in future esp once they leave their big labels. Skipping basic vocal trainings and debuting nervous as heck kids just for the sake of debuting is doing them no favours in the long run and is horrific in short term too (online bullying is awful).

Also enjoying Kpop is different for everyone for me its mix of both performance and or vocals - SKZ and exo are good examples.

There arent many strong vocalist in SKZ per say but watching them live is so much fun the energy is amazing, for Exo they can sit there ass on concert stairs and sing for hours and i still enjoy watching them just as much lol

The majority of people will always expect that singers can at least hold a note. Just like we expect that people in every other profession is at least passable in the most important aspects of their jobs.

Your kind only pretends to be a fan of these great singers to use them as shields when their actual fav gets slandered. Classic use of her and Sohyang. I remember the time your posts were indicating you’re new to her and discovered her in this very site. But now pretends like you were a fan since forever.

A group getting criticism because they are doing their job poorly is justified. Your dumb argument can be used on any kind of criticism. Don’t ever talk about visuals if your fav is not Aishwarya Rai/world beauty level, don’t talk about dance if your fav is not x top tier dancer level etc…
