Do you call members by their official stage names?

For BTS and Twice I call them by their nicknames and real names. I think I only use their official when posting their achievements.

stage mostly since there are some people who if you referred to them by their real names would have no idea who it is lol

Usually stage names because they're easier to remember.

Stage, because I don't know them personally

As someone who in many previous jobs used a "stage name" because my real name is unique and I had a weird thing about not liking rando's using (or knowing) my real name, I'm definitely more inclined to use an idols stage name over their real name.

I'm aware but that wasn't the question.

I choose to call them by their stage names because that's who they are to me. It's the line I personally draw as a 'fan' of a group/idol.

It just seems strange to me and it seems like it is only with K-idols. Like people also seem to call western celebs by their stage names only, but maybe I'm out of the loop there.

lol, the only one I know is Gaga.

When i talk with army i use real or nicknames, with non fans i use stage names. Tho I noticed even non fans use taehyung. Sorry tae but V is not the best name

Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Gaga and Elton John

unless the artist indicates otherwise I use their stage name.

I'm not trying to act more personal than need be.

I wouldn't do that with any other entertainment act in any other industry.

I can only talk about bts. It's not the same because artists you mentioned never use their real names unlike bts. Bts use them all the time in lives, run bts (their variety show) and all extra content. You just pick it up

for bts it's mostly nicknames, a few other idols i'm familiar with as well. otherwise i'll use their stage names
