What would you consider an ideal release interval for a top girl group?

6 to 7 months

i think every five months for groups that outsource their music. idle's case is different since they write their own stuff so they can go at whatever pace they want

Regular artists, every 6 months or more, maybe even in a year+. For KPOP. As often as you can. Because GP has an attention span of a gold fish. If you're not releasing, you're not relevant. Too many competitions. Too many groups debuting within a year.

For young groups, I'd say change between 2 and 3 comebacks a year. The year you're doing 3 you can release a repack, a single like NJ did with OMG or some kind of side project (a bit promoted, not randomly drop a song with no promo like Ive just did last month for example) so you don't have to put that much effort.

Anything above 8 months is a mistake imo, but once groups turn 4-5 years it's understandable the hiatus are longer.

3 singles/year and a minialbum of 5-6 songs every second year and full album (+10 songs) every second year.

Depending of the last cb.

If your last was a success you don’t need to cb every 4 or 6 months however being on hiatus with no promo or contents is a risk.

If your last cb did okay or was complete flop, then the earlier the better. 3-4 months.

As long it's not as long as the BP dungeon interval

Every 6 months if not touring. Every year if touring.

Of course for me, I can never get tired of my faves so as much as possible without burning out the groups.

i'm agree with this statement. Having a lot of albums is good but if the quality is poor it's not worth it. It may be personal but I prefer albums to minis, a comeback per year with an album is something I would like.

Is the first one NewJeans?

Two comebacks per year seems fair, especially if you're also touring. But I'd still like to see groups release full albums more often, maybe once every other year.
