In the USA you need at least 7 tracks to be considered an Album. (I think it also has to be over 30 minutes long, but I am not so sure about that)
So 7 songs in an album [in the US].
What? No one is buying a modern "album" with only 7 songs. 
The most common amount these days is 12, and I don't think I'ver ever owned one with less than 10. Also, a thirty minute album with only 7 songs averages out to 4.3 minutes per song. Sure, you can format an album this way, but most modern artists wouldn't choose to.
Ready to Be is a 6 songs EP as have been most of their EPs, + a translation song which happens from time to time

More like someone needs to tell BP that 8 songs is too few rather than twice for having normal number of songs that most other groups have.

In the West I have never seen an 8 album track album called a studio album.
