In Korea I Am > Super Shy = Queencard

Globally Super Shy >>>>>>>>> the other two songs

The gap in Korea is so small it doesn't matter, and Super Shy ended up SOTY on Gallup anyway

PAK and #1 days imo are immaterial because it’s competition based. So I am is the bigger song in Korea. Interesting. What about queencard is it bigger than Super Shy or?

The Gallup one I do consider interesting because I think that shows who is more memorable as a brand and that’s what I always felt about IVE that they don’t have a following or ardent support.

Ironically, it seems I Am had more PAK hours. And it's not immaterial in Super Shy's case, since Super Shy had tougher competition than any girl group song this year, since this guy named Jungkook dropped Seven not long after Super Shy came out, and it was ultimately the song that ended SS's run at the top.

Overall, I Am has had stronger charting in Korea than Super Shy, but I don't know if I'd even call it the bigger song in Korea despite that, and the Gallup Survey is strong evidence as to why.

Who's more memorable as a brand would be more represented by the Artist of the Year category than the Song of the Year category.

Total digital points is what matters. what I mean by immaterial is it’s not a metric worth using for comparisons. It’s a good achievement for the group ofc. I’d boast about it. But I mean I don’t really use it to say which song is bigger than which. (At least in the same year it’s a very useless metric)

No brand recognition means that people will likely name your song as well.

This isn’t “song of the year” this is “name a song you remember liking” it’s just asking people and the bigger brand will be remembered more.

Internationally I confirmed queencard out performed I am. On Spotify and YouTube at least.

i would say Gallup is interesting. i remember it more into the time the survey taken, which affects by the popularity of the song at the time. in korea, i still think i am is the biggest hit. its still in top 10 many charts atm

Like said biggest hit and brand recognition need not be the same and I still stand by that. Sometimes these can coincide but sometimes they may not as well.

I sometimes go on a frenzy and listen to some trendy songs but they don’t necessarily become my favorites in a few months.
