I wanna throw up everytime i see an idol giving into or being pressured to whiten themselves/keep themselves void of natural sunlight/edit photos or whatever to look whiter. I feel like this is a dangerous line to cross over pretty harshly, but i want to give some love and appreciation to those idols who didnt give into the bleach.
She comes to mind because i remember somebody saying something racist about her skin and i was just like shocked because it was the first time i saw colorism in Korean culture amongst OTHER koreans/SEAs
