Most of the 4th gen group's had a trend of debuting maknae's who didn't had that much of talent or skills and they are just there for just "visual" purpose or just to fullfill the role of maknae. Like for example leeseo of ive, or eunchae of lesserrafim, etc and its true for groups that i like/liked too, like for example gidle, itzy, weeekly, fromis_9 etc. (There are some exceptions like aespa's maknae ningning is best singer in the group so not a useless maknae (rare aespa W).)
But in case of babymonster, their maknae Chiquita turned out to be mvp of the group , just look at their debut mv, Chiquita stands out the most among all the members. She can easily and naturally be the center and face of the group.
She is the youngest but is easily the member with one of the highest potential in the group
