Itzy Cake is on Ther Rise, what it peak would be?

I’m gonna have a perfect track record this summer and be 3 for 3 in terms of predicting songs that’d eventually become hits the moment i listened to their teasers even tho most people wrote them off initially (queencard, spicy, cake)   

Producers should run their stuff through me next time they want to check if their song has the potential to blow up or not

The way I was waiting for them to hit top 15/10 to make this exact thread lol.

I don't miss when it comes to ITZY, so I get it. I knew Sneakers would be a hit, knew Cheshire would flop, and I knew Cake would do well. But my powers only work for JYPE groups it seems lol. I was all wrong when it came to predicting which songs would flop or do well except when it came to Twice, ITZY, and NMIXX.

A top 20 I don’t see hitting the top 10 so let’s see.

nothing feels more satisfying than smugly smirking while rubbing it in people’s faces that your unpopular prediction was right all along which makes you intellectually superior to them majority and their wrong takes

Cake sounds pretty catchy and has funky beat. Also choreo looks fun and cute. Cheshire energy is too low but grown on me later cause it's song structure is pretty good. I'm glad that Cake made it to the top of the list, even a little late. I hope this time it will contribute to their next CB.

The song has actually grown on me after watching the performances. I hope it rises even more!!

I think i said it in the bop/flop thread but the song is great.

I feel like still rising after 3 weeks, a top 20 hit is looking good to me. The song is an ear worm and the pre-chorus is gold.

If this was released after Wannabe It would have been an instant hit. The potential of the song shows when it keeps doing numbers even though ITZY's brand in Korea is weaker.

Korea clearly vibes more with their more fun sound that they originated with so I'm not sure why JYP kept giving them more serious songs like MITM or Cheshire....I don't think their brand would've decreased as much as it did if they avoided releasing songs like that

MITM is literally their second best song though, arts before the charts.

I need Itzy, Somi, Stayc and Eunbi (with Underwater) to rocket into the top 10. Also would be cool to see Ive's Pepsi song do it as well.

I think Itzy's rise shows the value of music show promotions. Even if their TV ratings are in the trash, they still can be useful promotional pathways on YT.
