It's sometimes nice, but not if someone for example drops a 12 song album and 10 of them are with other artists. It also sucks if every title track that gets promoted would be the feature-one

I don’t think it’s better or worse. I think it depends on the song. Some featurings are good some are not.

And I particularly dislike unnecessary rap parts that don't fit the song and were clearly just added to be able to have the song say ft. so and so.

It depends, if it's a single no, but if it's a bside from an album like Jihyo's case, yes, I don't mind it. And if it's one of my faves collaborating with another fave ofc I love it, like a collab with IU doesn't miss, and BIBI is collabos queen, she is always killing it when she is in another artist song.

It's like the bad late 00's, early 10's trend of needing to have a ft. artist on almost every song, no matter how much it didn't fit and to be honest, most of the times the ft. part is the weakest part of the song.
