why are cube groups so hit or miss?

thats just their management, CLC should've been the next 4 minute but instead they gave them shit songs and went with the ''pure concept'', pure concept doesnt do well unless u got A VERY GOOD SONG. Bad ass gets the most attention, they fked clc so hard, they deserved better. As for Pentagon, Kicking edawn most popular, breaking the duo (edawn and hui) was the biggest mistake and for what, FOR DATING LOL anyways fuck cube, hopefully gidle gets out of that shit hole. They can do amazing ANYWHERE, cuz Soyeon be making hits.

But G-idle didn't do a drastic concept change like CLC did they literally went from hobgoblin to free Sm in a year like how do you do a dark concept then follow it up by a super pure bright concept and the fact that CLC disagreed on that concept says a lot

Cube is a company was always a miss they only had two successful acts which they ruined it took BtoB 5 years to finally get their first as group they were extremely underated it's the members individual popularity that rubbed into the group and finally they saw the light of success and for G-idle it's mainly thanks to Soyeon and the rest of the members that group is successful and not the other way around

How the fuck does BtoB count as a successful act, but 4minute does not? Especially when 4minute has had significantly more songs to reach end of year charts than BtoB.

Just to let you know, the majority of member-produced title tracks from Btob were made by Hyunsik not Minhyuk (iirc Minhyuk has only made b-sides). Hyunsik made their biggest hit Missing You.. Also I'll be Your Man, Only One for Me, Beautiful Pain, The Song, Wind and Wish, the prerelease Someday and a whole bunch of other b-sides. Even Ilhoon had more of a hand back then, he made their title track Movie and prerelease The Feeling and many other b-sides. Also, Ilhoon and Hyunsik created one of their Christmas title tracks together, The Winter's Tale. I think Minhyuk creating music for the group is a bit of a more recent thing, and I would definitely credit their main producer as Hyunsik. I would say in terms of music creation for the group, Hyunsik and Ilhoon for back then and Hyunsik and Minhyuk for more recent times.

Let's not forget what they did with their ballad group barely any promotions
