why are kpop fans so creepy irl

I have no kpop friends IRL cause all dem be crazy. got houses full of albums, polluting the earth. albums collecting dust, bulk buying, hoarding. streaming, stanning, worshiping. so evil to me. and they always stan the most untalented groups. I have to stay away from them. out here polluting the earth. jesus will save dem...

The ones who I know in real life are pretty normal, but I do have two virtual acquaintances who fit the second example, they are armys who say some bad things about bp members and are in denial about V and Jennie relationship (not armys fault, every fandom has some weirdos, the big ones just happen to have more)

I've never met any irl, but imo K pop fans are creepy anyway.

There’s definitely a more obvious rly nerdy/obsessive subset of the population, but the casualisation of the genre has made it much more bearable

But rly it’s got similar issues with any internet-based hobby, just with an extra dose of parasocial bleakness

Oh my goodness, I don't even talk to Kpop stans because I'm scarred for life after meeting the Asian fetish stans. They are the reason I'm embarassed to tell people that I like Kpop because eveyone assumes that I'm some gross, creepy fetishizer.

It's hard to say, no one who knows me in person knows I enjoy it besides people on this forum. And I only have one album (Colde Love Part 1).

I don't fetishize my bias's at all, (I like girls), and I enjoy it purely for the music.

I regretted telling some people when I was in middle school cause they weren't the nicest but honestly I don't think I am as bad as a fan any more, the only fans that would count as 'creepy' that I ever encountered would be saesangs on twitter (part of the reason I deleted it last month, social media in general regarding kp).

I know only one! She is more chill then me. Plus she likes k dramas as well

tbh my friends are rlly nice people and they dont judge me for liking kpop. it more like my 'thing' which they associate me with. even the ones who like kpop are normal, we all just like certain grps and obv find them handsome and stuff but not to the point of a fetish, its more like 'OMG they're so hot!' and then moving on.

howver they will be those weirdos of the second type. i have a friend of a friend (thank god they're not close) who thinks rosé is a skiiny bitch and how wony is so much better than her. there are those kind of toxic ppl around.

i feel like my friends dont mind kpop it's just they tend to hate how toxic some of us are

the thing is i adore my fav kpop grps for their music and personalities and i would consider myself as those 'super stanning' types. but that doesn't mean im gonna have a fetish with asian men and be rlly wierd abt those kinda things. i just love my fav grps as people and artists and i want to support them.
