Which generation is your favorite in kpop?

2nd and early 3rd can't be beaten in my opinion

I am more of a third generation stan in particular for the girl groups. I stan Mamamoo and Red Velvet, I love Twice, Gfriend, Lovelyz, OMG, WJSN, Spica, Ladies Code, Laboum, Gugudan, Pristin, IOI.

4th gen. Music is better, so many more groups to check out. Apart from vocals, every other skill that an idol has is better and there are so many more better rounded idols.

As much as I loved them back in the day, there are so many 2nd and 3rd gen songs that just haven't aged that well.

I miss the laid-back vibes of the 2nd gen as much as anyone but music wise I gotta give it to the 3rd gen. Every gen has it's gems and it's turds but as an overall trend 3rd gen evolved just enough to lose the tackiness and outdatedness of the 2nd gen, but wasn't so evolved that the music sounded like the producers put video-game sound effects in a blender like the 4th gen.

So tbh I don't know much about generations, but I know the artists.

For me it would have to be 2014 - 2016 ish. My favourite groups are from that time and our fanbases are still geniunely good. Like BlockB, BAP for example. But Honeymoon by BAP and the Blue album is still in my top favs for sure.

My favourite time that I was a fan though would be around the same time of StrayKids debut, I will forever say I wish I could go back to I am You and Get Cool era, where I felt comfortable and safe within my own fanbase. It's one of my favourites. (I was a pre debut Stay, so this era was just best to me. I hated that MNET show to say the least...)
