I had no opinion on him until he decided to post that rant defending his in-laws

He is allowed to marry whoever he wants but his fans are not obligated to still buy his tix or support him

I don't think he has that many I-fans tbh. Especially when it comes to his music.

I liked him as an actor, but I could not care less about his music career tanking lol.

I don't GOT no TIME to DEFEND people I DON'T KNOW...

He is well known in SEA since he started in many dramas and like even my elderly mom would recognized him.

I think many I-fans really don’t know much about his father-in-laws’ financial crimes and the impact it had against victims in Korea. Plus, many do not care about his personal life etc. It’s true that his wife isn’t involved in the crimes.

I didn’t care myself either —- who he married. I think it’s his right to choose his partner so I think many feel the same way.

But I agree that his last post defending her family as if they did nothing wrong made me dislike him a lot more. He wrote as if the financial crimes were just rumors and completely ignored the real victims of the crimes! But like how?!? Especially when the father-in-law guy has been in prison twice for financial crimes. And the fact that LSG himself was just a victim of financial crime.

At this point, he is an adult that made his decision. People will have to choose if they support him or not.

Which is why people don't like him, because he married her. Because you are now attached to this person by love you are obligated or blinded by love to defend their problematic behavior even if they personally didn't do it, you still love ur family and want them treated nicely so by extension it hurts you and your blinded by love spouse defends it thinking it will help you because they support you. Welp he will eventually wake up, sad part is he should know better after being used manipulated abused and gaslit by the ceo of his previous company that even threatened to kill him. They donated the money to a charity they run, basically a sorta of tax scam they going on the side.

His fans has all rights to stop supporting him. He knew the response was bad when their relationship went public yet he decided to marry her. So it's him who chose his love over his career. His last post defending his in-laws was mind boggling indeed, it was a career suicide move. Though he's an actor so he can still make a comeback and have a career but his nice guy image is shattered completely.

Oh I agree that she benefitted but she didn’t commit the crime etc.

Lucky for me, I haven’t liked any of his drama for a long long time and probably won’t watch his future projects.

I never liked any of his dramas except king 2 hearts and his newer drama Mouse.

Mouse is crime thriller, my full recommendation if you are interested in dramas like that.

No. The charity ceo spoke up and said they are just doners. Other than that they have nothing to do with the charity.

I'm nuetral about him. Not his fan but I will still watch his shows and if his music is good listen to it. As long as he is not a criminal, I don't care about who he marries or choose to voice his support.

I'm one of his fans, both as a singer and as an actor, but he's been a huge disappointment lately. I'm seriously considering leaving the fandom too.
