I see a lot of people in here (on akp generally) talking about the extreme dieting of kpop groups, but truthfully i dont think Red Velvet look unhealthy.
I actually recently saw this thing that said female idols are typically weighed in and must be 120 kgs less than they are CM. And everybody in red velvet is technically “overweight” for this standard and so i think they all like ACTUALLY look fit. Like if one of them feinted on stage I’d be concerned for them neurologically speaking, not nutritionally

Red Velvet in Dumb Dumb era's even were more fit. That's why stupid Netizens criticized them as fat. Except for Wendy, no one was on an extreme diet in the RV. Wendy has balanced it now. Yeri and Joy are among the most healthy weight idols. I think they're doing the right thing, probably trying to stay fit so they can do their job better and stay energized.

I actually distinctly remember Taeyeon and the RV manager taking rv out to get Milkshakes when ICC debuted and the manager was like “you need to watch how much of those you actually drink because itll make you fat” essentially and taeyeon was like “literally shut the fuck up” essentially
