Personally, I think she should have apologized even if she's innocent since the beginning. Pride isn't important when you are about to lose your career. The alleged victims doesn't have proof against her, but she doesn't have that she's innocent too and the public will always be against the idol anyway.

Even Kihyun and Hyunjin, whose accusations weren't half as serious as hers, met up with the victim to apologize. Why can't she?

i think you’re taking my words way over the top, i do agree that it is hard to gather enough evidences to prove one’s innocence when it happened almost a decade ago, tbh Cube’s first statement put fuel to the fire by adding the fact they were going to “sue” those accusers. Not saying their silence is understandable, but what can cube even do at this point, when people refuse to believe what is real and what is not. One pann post cleared up some misinformations, did it help? Not entirely, but it did do something.
