I agree. Anon is gathering of bitter, jealous and toxic people. I posted few times to defend my faves, but I realized It is pointless to argue with these kind of people. They are just living to hate on others, my faves remain unbothered.

Sometimes I comment something and forget about it and then days later when I visit the Anon thread again I only then see some people reply to my comment
My theory:
Most of the ones instigating in Anons are those "toxic and vile" users from the old forum. Because many of them parted ways with AKP on bad terms, they don't want to be clowned on for returning. So what do they do? They stick to Anons instead of carrying all that baggage.
The way they speak suggests they have a vendetta against certain users here, so they're taking it out on entire fandoms. And trust me, a lot of these posts that have been blocked contain telltale signs that my theory holds weight.
The users you regularly see posting out here in the main K-pop section? They're not the ones making these loud takes in Anons. If anything, they're only responding in Anons to defend when provoked. There may be some exceptions here and there, but generally, that seems to be the case. Our current core community is nowhere near as vile and toxic as the old forum's. As a matter of fact, these days, even when people try baiting us into fanwars, most of us have become too wholesome for that. We just clown on the OP instead.

i think it's post and reply shouldn't be shown along with other threads but i don't see why people are so hyped for it. i never find it worthy to read
People care about their forum identity.
They don't wanna be bashed by other users called out thrown from their guilds for having these opinions in the main.
Totally understand that.
But maybe they should learn how to convey controversial opinions and own up to them.
I know it's not easy, but hiding your already anonymus identity in the anon section to bash and not willing to be responsible for it, is not something worth respect, because you can say whatever without repercussions and without thinking too much about your words and if there is even any truth in it or just pure hatred/jealousy.
Edit: the anons are not really place for debates or exchanging opinions, but just for 'hot takes', throwing out 'facts' and figthing. And without exchanging opinions we don't really do anything...

Not all of them are toxic and vile, by the way. Instigators aside, some have their reasons for exclusively using Anons. I know this because many of them messaged me to request something be deleted. Sometimes they even regret what they said in the heat of the moment. When responding to them, I tried to encourage them to participate on main forum, but the common theme is that they just don’t want to deal with having a user post history, their words being held onto by other users forever, and such.
If that’s the case, I respect their wishes. Sure, some of them can get pretty heated during discussions pertaining to their favorites, but outside that, they’re really just anxious kids looking for a place to discuss K-pop.
Those toxic and vile users from the old forum, though? They can kick rocks.
