There is nothing wrong with BP flopping on chart. But blinks have been attacking other groups so damn much, that people will demolish blinks if that happens. Therefore blinks can take no Ls, the kpop fans will absolutely destroy them otherwise.

I don't think they will ever flop, they are too big for that. Also blackpink's 24 hour ULs are always huge, so they will debut at top but staying there and getting that longetivity will be undecided for now, i guess we will see. Plus newjeans are gaining crazy ULs and if IVE comes back with a bop like love dive then the tides might change on kcharts. Then again as you said, blackpink has nothing to prove anymore, it's established that they are hit makers.

Imagine the qrts and the Twitter spaces if NewJeans manage to block Blackpink. I will gain so much acorns.

Ive and NewJeans are competing directly with each other because they share the same young demographic. Blackpinks demographic is a bit older, so Ive and NewJeans coming out around the same time will hurt them more than BP.
