I don't like when the private life of idols is too exposed, but unfortunately in this kind of case, this kind of video has to go viral it's the only way to put pressure on the companies and their bad management / treatment.
The problem is, that is how most khip-hop/rap make their money, from performances. I follow rappers as well, and it’s summer so it’s festival season in SK and they are doing tons of shows, including club appearances etc.
I don’t wanna downplay her stress, cause flying around nonstop to perform and having nonstop schedules can suck, but covid definitely hurt the hip-hop scene a lot.
Unlike kpop that saw a crazy increase in sales and could do online concerts, these hip-hop artist don’t have the name recognition or company behind them to do that.
So yeah, since covid is starting to be less important, a lot of companies are trying to make up lost revenue. It sucks and hopefully she is being well-compensated, but her job has peak seasons, and this just happens to be one.
This is why I never understood why some people think idols can just "take a break" whenever they want. Most can't just sit down and rest, even when they desperately need to. Soloists likely have this even harder, but it can also be the case for many groups too.
As for Bibi in particular, I really really hope she gets the much needed rest and support she needs and deserves, this is just inhumane of her company to treat her so cruely.

Making music is a tough tough business these days, the Internet has destroyed it. Everyone expects everything for free, no one buys albums or even downloads songs anymore, everyone wants to listen to thousands of songs per month for 10 bucks or even for free. Music is a commodity, no longer a work of art. If you cant make enough by selling physicals, merch, and getting endorsement deals, concert revenues are the only other way. You cant make a living getting paid a small cut of .004 cents per stream.
As much as everyone shades on Kpop mass fandom album buying, that shit is lucrative af and gives the idols a chance at real financial security.
The thing that struck me the most was her comment about eating. Is her label pressuring her to not eat, presumably to keep her current figure?
I need to stress that fans have been asking for bibi to get a break, but it seems the company is prioritizing growth and profit. She is scheduled for a McDonalds perf on Sunday if I'm not wrong

Really sad but I'm unfortunately not surprised. She's been INCREDIBLY busy these past 12 months. Did Coachella, has this Camp McDonalds thing, an album she's aiming for August. It's no joke. And she's picking up so much steam that she's getting booked for features.
Hope she knows when to take a step back and that Tiger JK is supportive of it.

Korean work culture is terrible. Korean people are under a lot of stress both from the societies beauty standards and from the work culture. Non only celebrities by everyday people need to maintain these. This is especially true for women. I hope BiBi can get the rest she needs, and try to worry about herself and her mental health first even if she has family to care for.
