I think 2 million should be easy for them. Like the OP said, The Album sold 1.5 million copies and that was just under two years ago, and album sales have increased since then, so there is a good chance. 2.5-3 million might be possible, but it will be a bit harder.

If it is a HYLT situation, might not be 2mil easily. HYLT sold less than 400k (which is good for an album consisting of photobook and 1-song CD)
