The weird thing about dating scandals.

    whenever a *popular* idol couple gets exposed I always see shippers crying wolf that their ship isnt real, like jenlisa or dara x gd. 99% of the time ships aren't real, get that fantasy out of your head. Idols are probably dating the least most expected person you'd think of, not their group member or another popular idol. It's just a bit weird to me. I mean did you people really think Jennie was really dating Lisa or...? :danceb: also at first I thought that gd dating Jennie was weird, but now I see that the whole grooming theory is weird as well, gd and Jennie were most likely not close when Jennie was younger, she was only featured in his album and MV once, she probably was too busy with her debut and career to even talk to any members of big bang. We don't even know jennie outside of being an idol, we don't know her personally at all so let's mind out business and carry on. :pepe-toilet:

    If dating wasn't a "scandal", pre-marital pregnancies wouldn't be so common among male idols.
    I'm not saying that pre-marital pregnancies are wrong or anything, marriage is not even important for me to have a whole family (consider that it is important in Korea), but thinking about how much idols get dragged for dating when they're still idols, it's totally understandable why we get such news so often.

    If idols could date without issues, they'd get married without issues and eventually have their kids also without issues.

    Back in the days dating scandals were huge. like i still remember the time when everyone was less exited for new year but more to which couple dispatch gonna reveal.

    Since kpop is increasing in it's reach, i think they have came to senses that dating isn't gonna affect an idol like it used to. (i hope you remember BH and TY tragedy)

    Will bts ever have a dating scandal?
    Surprisingly bts have never had a legitimate dating reveal despite being an eight year old group and being the biggest group in Kpop history, and as a result a prime target for news agencies and gossip sites. I don't think a top group has ever gone this long without at least one member being revealed to be dating. I personally have nothing against idols dating but I know that's not the case with every fan and while I'm glad they haven't had to deal with the mess that's a dating scandal I think…
