Nope. You know idols grow right? Like their personalities, bodies, faces, all change within time since they are also human.

Eunchae was a very shy kid last year and was presented as the underdog, look at her lines in Fearless 💀, and within what… 4-5 months? She blossomed and now she shines, HYBE is doing things right, they pushed it and look at her winning everywhere. Kazuha is still top 2 most searched LSF members in the web.

One doesnt have to outshine the other, the best case scenario in any group is all the members being successful in their area. Sakura keeps bringing the sales with her huge, loyal, and wealthy fan base. Chaewon doing an amazing job as center. Yunjin constantly getting solo songs and the most lines in their songs. I think the only loser here is Garam 😕.

IVE on the other hand, their identity revolves around Wonyoung. Good music helps A LOT but look at how Kakao sacrificed Liz to lift up WY. Gaeul does an impecable job as underdog but unlike Eunchae, she wont get out of that position. Rei is doing fine, Yujin must feel like a ‘’failure’’ compared to WY, even though she has successful career; if you watched P48 you might understand it. Her position is ACE, but at any other group she could’ve been center easily but she shares the stage with WY. Lol I even forgot about Leeseo, i think she is still discovering herself.

Every agency tries to do what they think is best for the group in general and to stay or become profitable, that is their job, without revenue/profit no group can survive.

I didn’t mean ACTUALLY ugly, more like less visual/underdog, and compared to the other members that is how Eunchae was presented. She clicked with the fandom and look at where she is now, hence SUCCESSFUL case.

No position within a group is set for life unless they work. Taeyeon was not meant to be face, just main vocal and now you cant mention SNSD without mentioning her. Yoona did her job as visual and center too, SNSD had 2/3 centers, only Twice and BP also achieved that.

Jisoo was the visual, but Jennie was too strong of a center [complete idol] and pushed her to the underdog position, where sh ultimately succeeded, BLINKS love her.

Same with Rose, she was ‘’visual hole/main vocal’’ hence the underdog and has a lot of fans that wont leave her no matter what. Another successful examples.

Even Vivi from Loona is another example. Youtube comments are full of her saying how unfair the line distribution is, etc. A new fan by default would know Vivi and Chuu through youtube for example.

Again, NO IDOL IS UGLY. Except for a handful cases with exceptional talent, Chaeyeon, 2NE1 supposedly. You get the point.

The unsuccessful cases are Bae/Jiwoo. Nmixx is just a mess, their center didnt click with the public, weak visual. At least their fandom is united, somehow loyal and slowly growing.

SNSD Sunny, the poor girl was hated since the beginning, she couldn’t click with the fandom and has haters until now. Lia is also a very sad case where she has haters within the fandom, girl can’t dance though so it is somehow justifiable.

IN conclusion, visual/center are the most important positions since their main job is to attract fans, once the member is hooked with the group they choose their bias.

Example: I got into Twice because of Tzuyu, immediately started recognizing Nayeon throughout the MVs, within two weeks Sana became my bias. It has been 6 years since then.

Aespa #2 is just their fans playing the game, the song is just meh and out of their concept, nothing near Next Level.

And Unforgiven is the ‘’weakest’’ out of Queencard and IAM. Still a great B-side, they just release their songs in the worst time possible.
