Red Velvet didn't stand a chance against Twice and Blackpink, wasn't even clooooose to competing with them, they were successful, but in a high tier not the GOD level tier.
Then we have EXO than died as soon as BTS started their relevancy. NCT took forever to become something and they still haven't achieved what SM expected of them.
AESPA, their whole KWANGYA? universe ruined them, so cringy and childish concept, Spicy is a good turn into the right direction, but until then LSF, IVE, NWJS already stablished themselves as top 3, with Gigle in the mixture.
So far SM has no top group and it is sad, it could be worse like YG only having BP, or JYP with NMIXX being as irrelevant and Fx on their downfall.

HYBE has Yunjin, her alone puts the group in the top 5, girl is theatrically trained.
Wonhee already showed she can hit high strong notes, HYBE will train her and she’ll be up par with Chaewon who is also a very strong vocalist.
Newjeans is the actual visual-only group if their strongest vocalist is Hanni. Itzy’s Lia actually got beaten at the worst main vocal ever contest.

Well Jiwoo ended up being #9 Yikes. She is out of the conversation. Chantelle shot herself in the leg by giving attitude so blatantly, you don’t want someone that’s hard to work with. Jeemin, I still don’t understand, she is very young though I think HYBE is saving also Himena for their next group or Japan-Only Group ala JYP.

Only flaw there was Eunchae at the beginning, she was like a ‘’Ruka’’ to me.
But HYBE KNOWS how to look forward, they knew this girl had it.
I would say all 5 members are Stan Attractors but 6 is a lot. Sakura already has legacy, Chaewon and Eunchae keep growing, Kazuha is the 1st pick Stan attractor, Yunjin is veeeeeeery popular with the girl fans, and that’s what a GG needs took have longevity.
Ruka on the show was boring, she wasn’t the best, null stage presence, visual are meh, isn’t but looks chubby, it is like everything is against her, I do agree with HYBE, this girl ain’t got it, she would’ve been better in a Japanese Agency like UpFront, not even AKB48 where charisma and SP are their thing. She got the skills for Korea but nothing else, I wish her the best and if she gets to debut I will look at her group and give it a chance.
