I dont think winning in music shows and reach the number one on Melon makes them very happy, atleast not lately. The times they mention this things looks very force, my guess is because fans care very much for this shit, so they have to. Is one of those annoying success stan things idols have to deal sometimes.

The problem is the implication of the bad performance on melon, which is that people in Korea just doesn't care about them as singers or their music, then combined with other metrics is just shows how JYPE dropped the ball with them when it came to maintain their relevancy.
But I guess they are at least make some good money.
