It was okay before, I was regularly going there to participate in discussions. Now a lot of stupid threads are being approved, so I blocked the section.

Well, for what i saw in anons, mostly is blatant and childish hate. Atleast here some people try to be funny and is not so...dumb. Now, if you call that disccusions then i guess you are right

Anons are a dusty, wretched, cursed, evil, disgusting place for people who lack thinking skills. It's not juicy nor entertaining. It's just like the baffonery that goes on in reddit. Nothing funny nor juicy going on there. Anon users are pathetic individuals who are ruining allkpop forums and I will forever blame them for the downfall of akp. We need to get a petition going to reveal whose posting what threads because the same nice users you see in here are the same users stirring the nonexistent pot in anons. Their not doing a good job at it either. Cowardly individuals.

I do use anons but I can say anything I say on anon on the main forum. And that’s how it should be.

As someone who used to go on anons, the thread that was really full of toxity was the Unpopular Opinions thread. People really go there to spread rumours, shit on idols' character and appearance, expose users, commit defamation. It's a mess. The rest of the sub forum used to have a "filter" when approved, at least better than now. Now It seems the sub forum became a extention of the UOT.

One day I entered in a Treasure x Enhypen thread to read and people were there insulting each other personally and the comments being approved

All usernames in anons seem botish, because they are created by bots. The usernames in anon are created and assigned randomly when someone posts there. They are not associated permanently to any specific users.

It's different because on main people can use ad hominem as retaliation so whatever you say end up ignored bc of who you are, in anon that doesnt happen

the reduced accountability leads to direct shitting on idols, insinuated insult to users, and generally fraying the discussion.

I'd say the main forum is better for throwing out thoughts despite its less juicy nature. (personally I don't think its the pushback on controversial thoughts that is the problem, it is the fear of the pushback that filters people's thoughts here. )

Ah. A lot of those are probably also actual bots. Bot accounts will flock to the threads with the most activity, which the anon threads get entirely too much of.

The way the akp economy is structured now, well, you guys see how frequently people are begging for the shinies.

If you want the shinies, to buy badges and stuff, you can't go fighting everyone.

Thus, ppl start considering using the anons an option for discussion.
