Don't know why IVE and Kep1er is dragged into this. Statistically speaking the top groups of the generation as always been Big 3 for GGs.
2nd Gen as big as Sistar/T-ara was for example, we could all agree that SNSD/2NE1 was still top. Same for Mamamoo/Gfriend vs Twice/BP/Red Velvet. I.O.I Produce group didn't end anyone either.
So it isn't really too far fetched to think that the top groups of 4th Gen would still be Big 3.

So in light of recent events, this thread deserves further discussion.

Aespa already took the high ground and every other act has to fight for it.

I mean aespa is definitely very dominant but you never know what can happen in the future

I think Le SSerafim's biggest problem will be that the members look a bit to similiar. You get Jisoo vibes from all of them except the former Izone members. With Blackpink and partly Aespa you can easily differentiate the members just from the first look. I think people are underestimating how important a good variance for a kpop group is.
I mean why should I care about Kim Garam or Hong Eunchae when Kazuha is similiar but better?
Obviously this is just a shallow opinion since we don't know their abilities yet.
