Why do I feel like JYPE might have been the plug between Sieun/J and BEP?

I always see things about J being the IT girl but I feel like Simon and Isa have more of the star power. J doesn’t really give me like YOONA it girl vibes (who i see her compared to). YOONA is very girl next door in my opinion like IU, but J reminds me of like Soyeon from Gidle or like… hyuna.

That is definitely possible.

He made all the hits for TWICE, especially during their rise to superstardom.

So, he probably asked JYPE for some great trainees that unfortunately not gonna make it at JYPE as they can't really debut all their trainees even if they are great.

He also got some trainees from PLAN A / PLAN B (APINK's former company) which he also made a lot of songs for.

That, or JYPE might have recommended. Sieun I know joined BEP in 2019. Around when ITZY debuted. I know they recommended Hyuna to Cube, so I wouldn't be surprised. At least that's what I heard. It just seems like a huge coincidence the group ended up with 2 JYPE trainees given BEP's relationship with them.

What's with JYP and letting go so many soon to be stan attractor trainees...

The list is already massive, so many trainees that left jyp are super popular idols now

JYP gets a bad rep for such things. But it is a company with many potential trainees and to debut, many things have to come together, business plans, market focus etc. Not just talents.

Some talents might simply not fit the company's plans, culture etc.

Then it is best to separate and try elsewhere.

It is good both for the company and the individual

This mocking of JYPE would at least make sense if the company was a failure with its groups, but that's hardly the case.

JYP actually should be appreciated, because he seems to have a good relationship even with artists who have left JYPE and expresses respect and support for their success

Jup really is the house of wasted talent. J's visuals fit JYP for me so I can really see it.

I am glad she is in StayC though I really like StayC

now that she says it i can see J does have a sort of JYP vibe, but I'm happy she left, J is perfect as STAYC's maknae
