Display MoreJYP gets a bad rep for such things. But it is a company with many potential trainees and to debut, many things have to come together, business plans, market focus etc. Not just talents.
Some talents might simply not fit the company's plans, culture etc.
Then it is best to separate and try elsewhere.
It is good both for the company and the individual
JYP actually should be appreciated, because he seems to have a good relationship even with artists who have left JYPE and expresses respect and support for their success
This is true. I've hated on the man for running Twice into the ground and i've been ruthless in making fun of his narcissism and ego. I know Ahgases have a lot of hate for his treatment of Got7. We know from Somi that the coaches there like to abuse their power, although that's probably common in all of Kpop and probably Korea in general.
But he obviously isnt all bad. He is the second greatest hitmaker in Kpop behind only Teddy. And he appears genuinely supportive of his trainees and idols, especially those that want to move on.
