Would you still stan if your fave decided make all their music and content for subscribers only?

i pay a monthly fee for spotify, for youtube and for universe. if my fave have their own stuff i could cut them all and come out cheaper than now. that would be great.

if it's a reasonable price, yeah. i'm already paying for netflix, hbo, spotify, audible and what not else, one or two more apps won't be a deal-breaker

I might consider, depending on the price and the content they would release. I mean, I try to buy physical albums when I can to support my favourites, so this will be a little similar, I guess? Only the money would go straight to my fave, so even better (unless you meant they'd still do it under the company, then I don't know cause they probably wouldn't see much of the profits)

Probably not. I like too many groups for me to devote my limited money to subscribing to only one artist. And even if I didn't unstan right away, naturally no longer listening to someone ever again means you're going to feel less strongly about them over time.

Pretty much my feelings. I would also be suspicious as to why they are doing it and what on Earth gave them that idea but would accept it after a while. Thankfully, Stays constantly upload V-Live+ content and exclusive V-Lives when they do happen, so I'd count on them to do the same for this hypothetical content.

If it’s extra content that’s not music depends on whether it’s good content. I’m not super into variety but like if it’s gonna be live videos and stuff like that I’d pay for it.

I pay monthly fees to Spotify and Netflix, so it's fine with me as long as they give me good music I like, so yes.

No, because for small artists it might even end them. Imagine they get let's say 3K each month by streams only but want more money and say "we charge everyone 20 bucks a month for listening to our music" than especially broke or underaged fans might not listen to them anymore and the group ends up with less earned money than as if it would be on Youtube or Spotify

Yes, but I would be pissed. I wouldn't pay the monthly fee, but I would still buy the digital version. Now, if they didn't even sell the digital version and forced me to buy the physical version, then I would say fuck it and not pay for anything.
