How many of you liked stray kids 'side effects ' song

It's my favorite song from them (along with Easy) and legit one of the best kpop title tracks I've heard. It's so unique and satisfying to listen to.

I'm typically not into their music,but I do like Side Effects.

I liked it I haven't listened to it much though

Side Effects was one of the first BG songs i can ever remember liking. Original, daring, it's a masterpiece.

The fact that no one voted no on the poll and half the people commenting are non-Stays who like it speaks volumes. I wonder if it’s just got the Sticker treatment where people hated it at first and it was popular to hate on it back then, but now people like it much more. Have a great day/night!

is it bad? no. It’s grown on me since my 1st listen, but it’s still not great.

and to the op: yes, a masterpiece released ahead of its time, not many people understood its concept and musical excellencé with the release but with time they will get it

It's one of my favorite songs and THE song that got me to jump into the Kpop rabbit hole. I had an idea of what kpop was in my head and I wasn't interested in that at all, but it totally shook up my previous judgment of what kpop could be. To say I love this song is an understatement.

I've been an EDM nut since 2014, so I've liked it since release. Side Effects took time to grow on me only because of the screaming in the background. The instrumental is psytrance perfection.

That's because we're focusing our efforts on Back Door (so they can get 300,000,000 on that song too) and Thunderous (latest actual title track, excluding Christmas EveL).

Side Effects has around the same amount of streams of their other title tracks on Spotify - apart from MIROH, God's Menu, Back Door and Thunderous that were more well-received by casual listeners - so their fans are definitely streaming.

or maybe kpop stans are not perfectly rational beings and influenced by bandwagon hate (the amount of people I saw hating on SKZ's music and then admitting to not having had listened to a single song of theirs is…staggering) plus they weren't nearly as popular when Side Effects was released as now (Miroh was released at a good time and was thus able to get more visibility)

Congratulations on your discovery, Christopher Columbus.

Since the first page, their fans are saying Side Effects received massive hate from non-STAY K-pop fans, so It wasn't well received by them;

The members themselves are aware of that and not only they talked about, but wrote about It on a song as a satire.

The reason why I quoted you is because your statement was about it being rejected by their fans what isn't true at all, since It has similar streams to songs that were supported almost only by their fans.

If your definition of better song is what is well received by the majority, then It's a concept up to you, I guess. Not a objective fact.
