definitely. it only makes sense that even the performers would FEEL the performance/song more when they are really singing it live in real time, and automatically the delivery will have more energy and emotions.

Yes. Absolutely agree. You can absolutely see the difference when the performer invested their 100% energy into the performance.

For TV shows I don’t mind, but for concerts I 100 % agree, but they also need to have a live band kinda backtrack, just having the instrumental sometimes may not work

I am not sure this even live? Backtrack too loud or prerecorded like you stated here. Now aday, they kinda blurring actual live and prerecorded. I am actually thinking the same as you. This is not Live.

Edit: keep in mind SNSD dance is not as aggressive as Kep1er, and you can pick out the uneven vocal, but it is not the case for kep1er, their pitch and voice is pretty consistent. Regardless loud backtrack or prerecorded, this is not Live.

Exactly, look at the SNSD video I posted above. like I said, whatever modern day show try to do, they are blurring the line of actual live.
