I don't think Cube would ever do it. It would mean hurting their own ego and stating they were wrong and I doubt the higher ups would do it.

I'm not saying I'm 100% confident because I obviously don't know what's going on behind the scenes; we don't even know Soojin's own mindset about this topic. But with that being said, I don't think it's something to rule out completely either. She still has a huge fanbase overseas, and even in Korea people seem to chill out a bit about her. Ultimately I think it will mostly come down to the conclusion of her current legal case.

It's a bad comparison I think. Jimin's contract with FNC merely ran out and AOA's time has passed anyway. The group was mostly on borrowed time after their contract extension and unfortunately the controversy lost them the few additional years they had.

but she wasnt kicked out... she departed on her own will. at least thats the official statement. so cube wouldnt lose their face. they never admit to accusations just took an timeout till the case is cleared.

if they really let her join is a completly different case. but at least i dont see publicity problems.

Has cube ever let artists back after kicking them out? It seems that is a rare occurrence if it has ever happened...

I think, for some companies, it's more about power and control than it is about money. Cube let Hyuna and Dawn go, despite the fact that left them with only one brand-new girl group and one third tier girl group and despite the fact that Dawn was the most popular member who had attracted a ton of attention to Pentagon finally. Like they'd rather sabotage Pentagon than admit they were wrong.

I agree. And even before all this went down, it's not like Jimin was bringing in tons of money or charting well with her solos. What people SAY they want and what people pay for aren't always the same thing. (Look what happened to Minzy... clamoring for her to have a solo for YEARS, and then she finally goes solo and crickets.)
