Anyways just for context, it was Jae talking in the podcast interview that he got his friend a Twice album that was signed by Sana because his friend is a huge Sana friend.
Toast asked him if he asked Sana directly and Jae clarified that he didn't, he got his manager to do it for them and it's pretty easy to do it because the managers interact with each other and they can just request like "hey so Jae has a friend that is a Sana fan could you help sign the album" and Jae got that for his friend, and then just said as a joke that he hasn't spoken to Sana for 7 years (I mean whether or not if it's real we don't know but it's just a joke as clarified by Jae)

He didn't, just to clarify.
Basically Jae now is trying out his own solo stuff. Day6 has 5 members, Sungjin and Young K are in military. Wonpil and Dowoon are also doing their own solo activities and eventually they would need to enlist.
Jae does not need to enlist because he is nt a Korean citizen. Since 2020 Jae was on hiatus because of mental anxiety issues back in early-mid 2020 when "Zombie" was released so he took a break. He did some streaming here and then but got "cancelled" on stream so he stopped.
Right now he is stepping out to pursue some of his own solo stuff because Day6 won't be OT5 anytime soon because of enlistment, and because of this it might look like he is "leaving Day6 to pursue solo stuff" when he isn't.
Recently he did a concert in LA with his friends and this was his first time ever singing as "eaJ". He did not leave Day6, he is just pursuing solo music stuff while members are undergoing enlistment, or also pursuing other solo stuff.

I don't know about other idols but Jackson Wang follows quite a lot of Kpop 'news outlets' like K00reab00, S00mpi and Allkpop, so yeah maybe some idols do read some of the articles.
I just checked Jae's account, he doesn't follow AKP so maybe some fan tagged him ?
