Objectively speaking, Aespa first year is more impactful than SNSD/Twice/Blackpink first year, right?

BP's dungeon disco was after AIIYL and every song including AIIYL were and are to this date some of their Top hits and some of their best songs...

All of that impact they had silently made it to D4 era... D4 had the ready audience because of all its predecessors and plus the song itself was a bop...

No one does hiatus like Blackpink they had bigger international impact and PWF AIIYL and whistle did their magic in Korea...

Aespa is doing great on the Korean front but no where near Blackpink's international impact.

I’m not sure about all girl groups but Aespa pretty much beat the SM girl group 1st year route although black mamba wasn’t a smashing success it still performed better than Red Velvet and SNSD debut :shyy:

Twice's debut album The Story Begins sells just 708 copies on first day basis, that's not fair isnt it.

When TT was released it was the most viewed GG MV in 24hours and went on to become the first GG MV to reach 200, 300 and 400M views. Like it ain’t comparable at all. Even if we talk about charting, TT got 90 PAKs and it was much harder to get a PAK back then, compared to Savage’s what? 5? LOA is a MUCH bigger hit than BM. It was not harder to chart back then it was in-fact easier Hence why so many groups are struggling to chart now or have weaker longevity

But internationally not even close. BP charted on bubbling under within 11 months. Which is insane. Especially back in 2017 when Kpop is much smaller.

My argument was never about being dethroned I’m not 5 years old it’s people undermining their success because they’re doing really well. I don’t care much about what happened during twice rookie years. Comparison is pointless charting is different competition was different. Presently Aespa are doing impressively well so that’s all that matters to me
