Ningning sounds amazing in this video. She can even challenge my girl Morissette for vocal prowess at the age of 13 or 14 or whatever. This is Mori at 14 in comparison.

I have no clue why OP is using this as a drag, or why Mys are upset about this. Am i completely crazy here to think she did fantastic?? SendFoodPics

She did great. Nobody upset about that. Look at these 2 trolls (beyond trolling at this point). They created threads to intentionally misconstrued facts and avoid evidence people provided. they kept regurgitating the same points and call aeaspa name and bashing them. Go take look at the other aespa thread regarding encore.

People are forgetting what actual sound quality sounds like LOL. Unless you're solar who keeps randomly getting in a fight with the technicians backstage LMAOOOO.

She's shown all the marks of an strong average vocalist there, but she sounds slightly breathier because of her age, it's a very common thing with young vocalists. It is why I didn't rate JYPngg's Lily M very great at all, she had a very severe (actually probably worse but she was taught stylistically) rate of breathiness with age in kpop star. She's too young to actually discern vocal level, which is exactly what I said about Treasure's main vocals, Jeongwoo I'd consider a bit young but not this young and ESPECIALLY Bang Yedam on kpop star. ame with that Nayeon audition, it was wayyyy too young. I think the auditions that ACTUALLY helped me discern vocal level were all of Mamamoo for sure (I think I only remember Solar's off the top of my head) , and Wendy because they debuted/auditioned/performed older. Heck even Taeyeon was showing weaker characteristics as a child with vocal training.

But this actually does show vocal level, she's showing the characteristics of someone on the level of younger Boa at the A-AA level (Currently Ningning is stronger to current Boa so she's had a vocal jump but I do see that she hasn't fully developed all her talent yet)

This has some very good lows here, she has F#4 predebut which only Monday and Ningning have. Stronger than all of Aespa and also rookie Jessica AND Taeyeon (I love my girl Taeyeon but her lows at debut weren't as good, they improved with Baby Baby and Kissing You)

This has support even better than what is on that song.

I'd say Ningning and Karina are the ones with the most material tbh so I am unsure as to what the dig is, that cover of Rolling in the Deep itself was quite good for a child, and had much stronger engagement than many of her counterparts.

Also a full song doesn't show as much as you'd think, I said it with Weekly and I'm saying it now, with MAMAMOO after a few snippets of predebut content I already knew the levels of Solar/Wheein with Hwasa being the only surprise. Same with Seulgi, and Wendy's singing covers on youtube were so prolific I won't count that as a snippit, but Taeyeon + Jessica + Seohyun too, we all knew their levels from the small clips we got.

heck I remember CSJH stans griping about them not having any vocalists on the level of CSJH the Grace's main vocalist because we could all see their level.

Unlike it's like Baek Yerin with one of the most uneven registers in kpop(thanks JYP) it's very easy to tell.
