Do some of you miss the former Members and follow their activities ?
Speaking for myself the answer is no as I started stanning Exo in 2015 just when also Tao left the group. I must say years ago I was casually checking their solo chinese songs but recently not anymore.

I became an exo-l in 2018 after the members left
But strangely I miss them in Exo.
I feel happy to watch their old videos and interaction I miss ot12 . I miss EXO-M...
I feel sad about everything that happened but that was for the best maybe who knows
Their music is not my cup of tea so I lost my interest at some point but I sometimes check what they've been doing. They are not Exo but also Exo at the same time it's a different feeling. Feels like an old good friend you drifted apart

The idea was a good start to introduce Exo in China and for sure was the perfect plan to get more chinese fans in the fandom but everything went wrong since chinese members started leaving the group. I still think the plan went well until 2014 and from 2015 ongoing it was quite useless keeping releasing Chinese versions of their albums.

What did you guys think of the EXO-K and EXO-M concept they did in the early years?
If I had been a stan then I would have just focused on exok lol. I would not have know a Chen or Minseok eye- Just the thought of EXO promoting separately makes me Jdkskalalak I don’t like the idea much.

I was not there when there was subunits but, the concept was great, it gave time for all the members to shine (not all but most).
But I think EXO-M wasn't as much promoted as their counterparts, the song arrangement and topline benefited EXO-K more than EXO-M(D.O. and Baekhyun are more RnB, Chen an Luhan more classical)

I became a fan in 2016 so I don't miss them. And they were in Exo M. I only listen to Exo K. So there isn't any effect for me. It's only shows like Showtime and fanfics that I look at with a feeling of slight regret. But not that much. I don't follow Kris, Luhan or Tao.

I only started stanning EXO when they became a regular nonet. I did feel they were great in the group when I watched the OT12 videos and realities and I checked their music regularly, so yes I guess I will always wonder how would have been if EXO were still OT12 from time to time.

Ex'Act holds a special place in my heart. EXODUS is good but I love what they released afterwards better.

Somewhat..I came into the fandom as Kris and then Luhan were exiting, so never built an attachment to them. Tao was okay. But I really miss Lay. I pay attention to Lay and sort of to the others, but in general, their music isn't my thang. Plus, I'm big on voices and none of them as has enough oomph the way that others in EXO do.

What did you guys think of the EXO-K and EXO-M concept they did in the early years?
Welllllll...as someone who's big on THE VOICE, I kept thinking how the EXO-M versions just felt a little more lackluster to me. So like one of my all-time faves "What is Love?" is just...yeah, no. Chen is great like always, but the pairing there... I almost feel like they would have been better served with different songs that better suited their voices. To draw a parallel, NCT started the same way, with the Chinese sub-unit also doing variations of the Korean songs, which again, felt a little lackluster. But when they swapped that for songs that better suited their specific vocal harmonies (which like EXO-M, were not as full R&B thunder), they really made some quality jams. I think the same could have been true with EXO-M...
