I think some of the groups considered as nugu right now aren't really nugu.
The only reason why they are being labeled as such is because of how big the success of the top groups of today are in contrast to their's. I don't think it's fair to judge them based on how high the ceiling is, no?
What do you guys think?

My idea of nugu is Aw5some Baby or even ShaSha but there's another level of nugu with Bugaboo, Pixy, and like Dia now.

Lots of people throw around the term for unsuccessful groups: Like Rocket Punch, Cherry Bullet, etc. They may not dominate the charts, but people have at least heard of them before. That puts them a level above nugu.

I think if you have a mv over 1 million views then you aren't nugu.
Theres kpop groups with only 2k views on their mvs.
I'll accept that bar. 1 mil views you are clearly not nugu.

I think you dont really necessary need to click the ads for it to be counted. I see some of my fave vids increase 4-5m views in a day just once the ads for the mv start, I doubt there are 5m people will click that mv ad and watch the whole video.
Umm...Yes it is necessary, I've had to deal with their dumb API and algorithms for 4 years now.
Unless you view an actual MV there won't be a view.
Ads are there to make you click, not to give free views.
I kind of just base it off my own knowledge. Groups like these are probably what I would consider on the top of "nugu" but not being quite nugu nugu since hardcore bg stans like myself have heard of them:
There are plenty of actual nugus with barely even a few thousand views on their mv's that virtually nobody in their mom has heard about multi-stan or not. Those are what I would classify as bottom of the barrel nugu. But all are in a "nugu" category either way because they range from barely known to essentially not known at all.
So Majors is real nugu group? Not even million views on single MV.
