Maybe he is maybe he’s not. But I wouldn’t be surprised if he is “broke”. Not only does Lucas have to divide his earnings between NCT and Wayv, SM takes a cut and we don’t know how much they take. Lucas biggest activity was Running Man China. It’s not like he was getting paid a lot for that when he isn’t a popular Chinese MC.

For example TLC made millions and was handed sponsored clothing but were broke.

Anyway, there’s no point into reading too much into this when his girlfriends didn’t give us a lot of information to work with about his income apart from him being a gold digger lol.

I think idols who cant sell physicals are broke, or making just average money. Not enough money in digitals to pay them much after all the expense have to be paid off like their housing, food, utilities, training, MV productions, costumes, travel, etc.

You need physicals, merch, tours and endorsement money. Plus with giant groups, any money that's left over after the label gets their cut has to be shared with like 8-12 other people.

Good thing is cost of living is pretty low in Korea. And most of the idols come from wealthy or middle class families. They aint gonna be left homeless if their groups flop or disband.

The times they dated Lucas was when he was a rookie. One girl dated him in 2018 when he just debuted and another girl started dating him in 2019 (the Korean girl). The Korean girl literally said Lucas told her after awhile from dating that he doesn’t need to be paid anymore because he earns money so she should stop buying him things unless it’s a house or a car.
