I find her to be really interesting musically!

IU has some good songs, others that sound too delicate to me. Hence a little boring. It sounds very much "indy" actually, barely related to mainstream idol music. Yet she seems very popular among k-pop lovers which is surprising.

I am okay with your perspective. I like the majority of the song myself, but the pivot after chorus...it kind of falls out of the "sweet spot" and vibe of the song and not onto something just as good or better. The beat is acceptable, but that vocal phasing isn't hittin' in a way that makes the change an enjoyable surprise.

So I just enjoy the track as a part of the MV experience. She usually comes with at least one song I'll like from start to finish on her actual album releases.

Her music isn't cup of my tea. I'd rather choose Sunmi's music. Oh wait, she has worked with Teddy. Teddy is my fav producer.

But I understand there are so many people who loves her music. But at this point it's true that whatever trash song she releases it will chart #1 everywhere which is really sad.

I agree the song is not her usual standard (maybe because it's just a pre-release) but it still sounds better than 90% idols' music lol

I don't understand how IU's music sounds like the same thing over and over again. Her discography is very diverse and Celebrity is unlike anything she's ever released before, especially as a pre release single. Even her remake albums cover various genres. Take for example, Last Night Story.

I think that anyone who tries to claim that all of her music sounds similar has never listened to ANY of her albums in their entirety.

She is not for everyone, she is for people who like melo, slow type songs that has deep meaning behind it. Just because you find her music boring doesn't mean it's boring for anyone......

I am an IU fan, listen to her old albums. Her old music was seriously good. Check out her best record "Modern times" it's soooo good. Her recent music hasn't been all that for me, I didn't like her last 2 albums or so. Her early music was way better.

I don't care for her music either. Gave it a try several times and the flow of a lot of songs is not my cup of tea
