*but the main points from reddit*
Saw the whole interview. Here are some translated points:
- Company was very against her doing "Crazy Dog" since the songs they had out were bright/happy type songs and they didn't want the strong lyrics of Crazy Dog to clash with it.
- Yezi basically was on brink of complete elimination on UPRS and basically YOLO'd her way and Crazy Dog was the outcome. No managers were allowed in during the filming of this so she was even more motivated to just go with it.
- There wasn't a huge amount of animosity amongst the cast in URPS, despite it being depicted that way. Yezi mentions literally all of them get no sleep during the show filming and all of them basically greet each other and go back to memorizing lyrics right away. Only time they felt pressure is when they see other cast do well during rehearsals.
- Was thankful to the company for investing in them but she felt it just did not work out in the end. They tried and didn't really hit success and eventually their contract ran out. They knew all along Fiestar wasn't doing well and the company was struggling as well.
- Her only gripe is hearing from the public that they didn't try hard enough. She felt they did, but still didn't end up with any success. There were no in-fighting within the group that led to disbandment.
- Most difficult part is literally just sitting in their dorms doing nothing. It was a very small and cramped space and members were wary about complaining as if to not worsen the mood during all this.
- It's true they had 0 income from their activities. Still does praise the company for still giving them allowances and living expenses. Ultimately, she says there was no income because they just were not popular or successful.
- Tried the whole brief resting period for a while (approx.a year) that went on longer than she wanted to. Ultimately decided that resting isn't for her and wanted to try music again. Now she's had/has an album and still working in that field.
