Gosh he’s so handsome
definitely for my faves...
Neither.
Lol. Obviously my faves, no doubt about it
And about K-pop topics that I find interesting, but BTS have no part of that, I know too little about their songs or their doings to write much about it. Although a number of BTS related threads happen to be quite entertaining to join the fray and post in recently :D
I did notice some different treatment when it's about writing essays about BTS songs though: it's ok to write a long essay about a BTS song and even mention you dislike it (or parts of it) when you're an ARMY, but it's not ok to write an essay about a BTS song saying you disliked it when you're not an ARMY.
Out of curiosity, I compared 2 recent PTD song review threads, 1 by a non-ARMY and 1 by an ARMY, and damn, the difference in treatment is HUGE. The same people who were praising the ARMY reviewer in 1 thread, saying it's ok to dislike a song, were hardcore assaulting the non-ARMY reviewer and others who disliked the song in that other thread, saying 'just say you don't like the song and be done with it, instead of writing an essay' and such.
It couldn't have been the length of the essays, both the essays of the ARMY reviewer and the non-ARMY reviewer were lengthy.
y'all are mad weird
Op should add an option of "essays about fandoms" cause some people are doing that too
None
Ikr their favs will release mediocre noise and they'll call it revolutionary 😂😂
Display MoreGuys please read my essays about my flop faves please
I did like 5 essays for 5 of their MVs and even broke down the meaning behind them
Ok, ok, ok! I'll bookmark and read your essays about your flop faves at a later time
But only if you add me to your elite elite list of researchers - not the list you spam your regular common folks drama research tourists with, but the elite one that you only use rarely for very special occasions, those particularly juicy drama interesting research threads

Yes please I spend a lot of thought into my essays
And also yes
One of them already started a career in fiction right here on AKP. A whole defematory fanfic about a BTS member.
Please give my flop essays a read
I even included MV screenshots
Bts and armys just inspire non-fans to write essays because they are that relevant. I remember a poll where only 10 people voted saying they'll checkout bts' comeback while most people said they dont care about bts. Kpoppies are such liars lol. When bts come back, everyone tunes in and the forum is filled with long think-pieces written by non stans.
BTS inspires non fans to write essays mostly because some of their favs are irrelevant & some of their favs use them only for pavlov's purpose.
If I don't like a song, ok, I will move on. If I get some severe itching on S(that I never got unfortunately ) , I will comment I didn't like it in 1 sentence under a whatever thread about that song. But writing essay?!?!
Ppl I don't even care about, why to waste my time on them?
But BTS is a exception for kpop fans. Their fav can lick the S of construction, same concept again & again. Its not a problem.
Sometimes I really feel like even "Pathetic" parents don't have that much high expectation from their children how much non fans have from BTS.

Because they're hypocrites,☺️.
let's be honest...
I don't even want to comment about other group releases,
if I like it, I'll add it to my playlist, even tho it's really rare I like another idol/group released,
If I don't like it, I don't even want to comment "meh" in their thread, I am getting tired just to write "meh" for them
my posts only for BTS and appreciation to other idol/group
The longest essay I wrote in recent times was about baking bread
Otherwise I have written very long essays about vocals, live singing and lipsynching. I have written long essays about my faves artistic freedom, music production and quality in the old forum. In my defence I talk a lot even in real life
Edit: if twitter counts then I literally write long ass essays everyday about Yuwu, TGCF, MDZS, Sha Po Lang and Qian Qiu. Literally everyday. Embarrassing

PostRE: Has anyone made bread at home? Any tips?I dissolve a packet (table spoon) of active yeast in a cup of warm water and add a spoon of sugar and a spoon of all purpose flour and mix it all together then leave it a few minutes to react
In the meantime I take 500g of all purpose flour, salt it to taste (1 table spoon) and spice it with some ground rosemary and basil and add 4 table spoons of olive oil and mix it well with my hand. Then I add my yeast mix little by little while kneading the dough until it no longer sticks to my fingers, it…

Yes, I do notice you like to write a lot lol. Glad you are better
Come to think of it, I have never posted any long ass essay on this forum. I have only made one thread so far about my fave, that must be lying around somewhere in dust and cobweb.
I know the feeling. Most of my threads are like ghost towns.. all cobwebby and flopped hard lol
I must admit i've hardly ever written long essays even for BTS.
Some people are secretly Armys even when they don't admit it. This is why BTS are always the main act in the industry. People can't simply ignore them after all. I think it's actually a good thing lol
I imagine if it was me vs other kpop acts, you won't be seeing me wasting energy about their music, I either hate or like the songs that's all.
